Homemakers / Companions
Duties include meal planning and preparation, and shopping, errands, light housekeeping, laundry, observing and reporting a client’s condition, maintaining a safe and secure environment, providing activities to increase independence
Hospital Sitters
The patient sitter is assigned when a patient requires constant observation. The sitter’s presence offers both protective and therapeutic advantages. The goal is to diffuse impulsive over-reactions, protect the patient from harm, and alerting the nursing staff of any change in condition.
Personal Care Assistants, CNA’s
Activities focused upon promoting physical and mental wellness by performing simple personal care tasks which include but are not limited to: bathing, dressing, assistance with ambulation, transfers, maintenance of safety, meal preparation, light housekeeping, respite care, errands, and other medically related duties as directed by a supervising professional nurse, physician, therapist or family member.
RN’s & LPN’s
Assesses, plans, intervenes in and evaluates patient care. Coordinates and manages patient care. Teaches patients health promotion and illness prevention. Gives direct care to patients, performs treatments and administers medication as prescribed by a physician and assesses efficacy and adverse side effects. Supervises and educates personnel who care for patients.
